• Submit a color photo taken in the last 6 months
• Use a clear image of your face. Do not use filters commonly used on social media
• Have someone else take your photo. Selfies are not allowed
• Take off your eyeglasses for your photo
• Use a plain white or off-white background
• Ensure head position is straight
• Please do not smile
• Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.

• Once you submit your business account opening application, you will receive an email and SMS notification from us with a unique reference number which you should save securely
• Our service teams will verify the information you have provided
• If unsuccessful, you will receive a call from our service excellence team with guidance on what is required for a successful application
• If successful, you will receive an SMS notification and email notification confirming that your business account has been created
• You will be required to activate your new business account by making a deposit of at least UGX 150,000 onto the account to enable your cheque book production and validation of company registration documents
• Your company will be required to deliver hand-deliver hard copies of all certified documents within five working days to your preferred branch to enable the completion of the company account opening exercise
