Your guide To Banking At An Agent Near You

Approach a certified / authorized BOA Agent in your neighborhood.
Provide your account details for the deposit to the agent who keys in your details
Confirm account details of recipient with the agent before depositing
If correct provide cash to agent to complete the transaction
Obtain an electronically printed receipt and an SMS notification for your deposit
Success! Your deposit has been received

Operate or carry out a transaction when the system is down or when there is any communication failure in the system, or in the customer’s absence
Carry out a transaction when a hard copy system generated receipt or acknowledgement of the transaction cannot be generated
Charge fees directly to customers
Undertake cheque deposits or encashment of cheques
Distribution of cheque books, ATM cards or PIN mailers
Conduct foreign exchange transactions
Sub-contract other person(s) to provide agency banking services
Provide agency banking services at a location other than the physical address of the agent
Grant loans or advances or carry out any appraisal function for purposes of opening an account or granting of a loan or any other facility except as may be permitted by any other written law to which the agent is subject
Be a guarantor to Bank of Africa –Uganda customers
